Live Streaming / Digital Events Technician (Up and Coming / Early Career)ng a Set Designer for School Productions

Create Engage is a tight-knit team of live streaming, video production and event content pros based in Sydney, producing live, virtual and hybrid events across Australia and beyond. From live streamed events and webcasts to creative event video content, we help clients connect with their audiences in engaging ways.

We’re on the hunt for an up and coming technician with a genuine passion for live events, live streaming, video production. This is a hands-on role with huge growth potential – ideal for someone with Audio Visual, Live Streaming or Video Production experience who’s keen to upskill in event content and live broadcast environments

What You’ll Do:

  1. Operate live streams and event recordings, including setup, show operation, pack-down
  2. Assist in video production, editing and camera work (live and pre-recorded)
  3. Work on hybrid events and virtual events
  4. Support pre-production planning, technical schematics and production briefs

You Might Be:

  1. A recent grad or technician looking to get started in event broadcast and video production
  2. An AV technician wanting to diversify into streaming, video production and event content
  3. Someone with a few gigs under their belt, ready to grow in a fast-moving space
  4. Naturally curious, self-motivated and ready to learn new tools and platforms
  5. Calm under pressure and comfortable working solo or as part of a small team

Bonus Points For:

  1. Familiarity with vMix, Wirecast, or mimoLive
  2. Experience with video editing, camera operation
  3. Previous work on hybrid or virtual events
  4. Any background in event AV, live production, or media/broadcast

Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Full-time | Sydney | Office on-site and Events on-location

This role helps AYO achieve our communications, fundraising and brand objectives by inspiring our participants, alumni and supporters, connecting them to our organisation and demonstrating the impact of their support.

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator administrative support to ensure the smooth day-today running of the Engagement department. The role includes seeking out and generating stories, planning newsletter and email content, and contributing to the production of online and print publications through quality copywriting and proofreading.


Reports to: Director of Engagement
Works closely with: Marketing Manager, Database and Systems Manager, Artistic Coordinator, Philanthropy Manager and Music in Me team.
