Owen, a proud Whadjuk Noongar man, had only just been introduced to home life after his short stay at the hospital following his birth. At the tender age of roughly 37 weeks, Owen was watching the greatest work of art humanity had to offer- Space Jam (1996) starring Michael Jordan, this work of art changed Owen’s life trajectory without him even knowing it.
Owen didn’t partake in Basketball or Looney Tunes shenanigans but instead, preferred Football and doing silly little voices, basically the same thing though right? Owen’s love of silly voices got him involved in Drama in highschool and later landed him a position at WAAPA twice.
He also played high level Football and had to choose between acting and ball, just like Michael Jordan with Baseball and Basketball. Owen ultimately chose the safer and more practical choice, and after that didn't work out he chose acting instead, deciding that making the masses laugh is more important than a silly little ball.
