Proud to be born and raised in Vietnam, Lập fell in love with acting whilst being in school productions, where he felt most at home on stage. He moved to Sydney in 2015 to pursue his acting career whilst completing his High School education.
Before being allowed to go to NIDA, he was coerced by his parents to do an academic degree in secondary teaching at WSU. During these years, he worked on productions at 25A Belvoir, ATYP and New Theatre to keep his acting muscles alive and sanity intact.
Whilst at NIDA, Lập was privileged to focus on his artistry and train in a plethora of different disciplines, spanning from stage to screen. He is inspired by stories connecting different cultures and is excited to work both in Australia and internationally in his home country, Vietnam.
