Growing up in Cherrybrook in Sydney’s north west to a single mum, Jack’s first love was football. He was a passionate AFL player from a young age and was hell bent on making it to the professional league one day. He felt like he was heading in the right direction playing first grade for his local club at Pennant Hills and then onto joining the Sydney Swans Academy where he spent the majority of his teenage years training to achieve his dream.
Unfortunately, that dream was cut short when Jack received a devastating knee injury in 2017, forcing him to the sidelines for good. Initially feeling lost and with the constant focus of football gone, Jack took some time out to figure out what he wanted and where to go next. He had always been interested in the arts and in 2020 Jack was honoured to be accepted into a Kevin Jackson Masterclass at the Hub Studio in Chippendale. This exciting opportunity sparked Jack’s passion for acting and he hasn’t looked back.
Art and making art is a constant source of inspiration for Jack and in his spare time you’ll find him writing, painting
and collaging as well as hitting the streets of Sydney taking photos of everyday life.
