NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we learn and tell stories, the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Dharawal and Dharug peoples, and we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.
Jackson Jones hails from Southern-Queensland with experience across a myriad of theatrical disciplines. From pantomime, to Shakespeare, Jackson has played roles such as The Father from Pirandello’s Six Characters in Search of an Author, Pavel from Gorky’s Vassa Zheleznova, as well as Medvedenko from Chekhov’s The Seagull.
During his years in theatre education, Jackson has been expanding his skills across comedic and dramatic texts; this is especially true in his current involvement in an adaptation of Lorca’s Blood Wedding.
