NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we learn and tell stories, the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Dharawal and Dharug peoples, and we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.
Zac Saric is an emerging Sydney-based sound designer and composer. Zac is passionate about creating new and evocative works that allow him to work with sound in a variety of forms and mediums, including theatre, musical theatre, podcasting and post-production.
Having recently completed several secondments, including with award-winning sound designers Nevin Steinberg (Hamilton) and Nate Edmondson (Honour), Zac has spent time being mentored in a myriad of methods of design and composition for productions over a variety of scales. Coming from a background in music, Zac quickly found a talent for composing for the stage and is continually expanding his skillset with new technologies and works by other emerging artists. Zac also works as a freelance sound technician and audio engineer, working across theatre, musicals and live events.
