NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we learn and tell stories, the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Dharawal and Dharug peoples, and we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.
Danielle is a regional Sydney-based award-winning artist with a well-rounded skill base of creative and practical skills, with central focuses and passion for foam sculpting, theatrical prosthetics and puppetry.
Her creative focus is the incredible attention to detail and quality of her works. Her 2017 Artexpress works were the winner of both the S&S Award and Wilkins Collection Award and the 2020 Ravenswood Womens Emerging Artist Award. These works are examples of her continuing artistic interests, evolving further from her newly developed and improved skills learned through her experiences at NIDA. All projects, particularly puppet show and her Masterwork, have bolstered a new confidence in her personal abilities and her desire to learn more of new creative processes and the props industry as a whole.
In the future she will continue to expand upon her existing artforms to create new artistic pieces for exhibition and submission and seeking a career in the television, movie and theatrical industries locally and across the globe.
