Student Recruitment Manager Justice Jones

Justice Jones is the newly appointed recruitment manager at NIDA, having graduated from the Master of Fine Arts, Directing course in 2020. Before joining NIDA, she completed a Bachelor of Music from the prestigious Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Her passion for the performing arts has led her to further her directing skills in Europe this last year, where she has gained extensive experience working in Opera.

Alongside her career at NIDA, Justice also teaches film with Busstop Films, an organisation that provides opportunities for filmmakers living with disabilities. In Australia, she has worked alongside all the major theatre companies, including Sydney Theatre Company, Opera Australia, Belvoir St Theatre, Griffin Theatre and the Australian Theatre for Young People.  She also works in film and recently had a documentary “It Won’t Define Me” premiere on both Kayo and Fox Sports.

Justice is an artist from the Western Suburbs with a mixed race background who knows firsthand how important it is for everyone to have access to the arts. She's passionate about creating opportunities and spaces for creatives from marginalised communities, with a particular focus on First Nations and POC backgrounds.

In her new recruitment role, Justice wants to bring more diversity and inclusivity to NIDA and the wider industry by connecting with talented but underrepresented individuals. Her dedication to making the arts more accessible and promoting diversity makes her a great fit for any team or organisation.
