Emilia Lilischkis is an emerging costume maker with a love for costuming, sewing, and making things by hand. She previously completed an Advanced Diploma in Live Production and Management at Enmore TAFE, and has gained professional experience across television, theatre, and ballet, bringing both technical skills and creative curiosity to her work.
Driven by a strong curiosity, Emilia is always looking to refine her skills and deepen her understanding of costume. Her time at NIDA has strengthened her interest in the history of clothing and costuming, especially how past artisans and techniques can inform and inspire contemporary costume making.
Emilia hopes to continue growing as a costume maker and costume supervisor in both f ilm and theatre. She is particularly interested in historically informed construction, detailed hand-finishing, and problem-solving in production environments, and aims to build a career that blends research-driven design with practical workshop experience.
