While studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics Honours at the University of Queensland, Thomas was more concerned with Australia’s income tax system than how to get into character. But after binging Richard Roxburgh’s performance in Rake for the fifth time, he realised something had to give.
Starting out in Brisbane’s student theatre scene, he quickly took to the stage gaining roles in every show he put his hand up for. Either he’d found his calling in front of an audience, or all those years of high school competitive debating were paying off. So, he had the bug but wanted more. And apparently Roxburgh studied at some place called NIDA… Now in his graduating year, Thomas couldn’t be prouder to call himself an actor.
Not to mention a lover of horse riding, a keen motorcyclist and an avid guitar player. And, yes, Tom works just fine.
