Paul Prestipino

Paul is a composer, sound designer and producer working across theatre, film, installation, and recorded music. He has extensive experience devising new performance works with leading theatre companies and artists around the world, and his soundtracks have been heard at prominent international venues and events, including The Public Theater and The Kitchen (New York), the National Theatre of Portugal (Lisbon), the State Theatre of Naples, Schauspielhaus (Vienna), Sydney Festival, and Linz 2009 European Capital of Culture. As a solo artist, he has been a recurring artist-in-residence at Bundanon Trust (NSW) and STEIM (Studio for Electro-Instrumental Music), Amsterdam, and his recorded music includes the albums Tunnel (2008) and Animals and Spirits (2025). His screen work includes the original score for the multi-award-winning documentary feature Birth Time (2021), the short film installation Smashing (MCA 2021, Cannes Film Festival 2022), and the Australian feature film Magic Beach (2025).
