The 2024 productions include a new multimedia work on the mother of cinema, four new operas that explore ideas of the mother, a story about the father of the monster and his resolve to create intelligent life, a new adaptation of the greatest play about teenagers, an Australian romcom about a teenager and a fox, a beguiling American musical about a bee, a towering play about race in America, and a play about a stupid f##king bird.

These eight productions are led by leading Australian and international professional directors and highlight the work of students from a wide range of disciplines.
