Tricia Ryan is the Head of New Business at NIDA. Having previously worked in programming design and management for NIDA Open and most recently as the Director of Public Programs, Tricia has a long-developed passion for supporting curious people of any age to begin their creative arts education journey.
She is a graduate of Actors Centre Australia’s leading full-time professional course, The Journey, has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies from the University of Adelaide, and a Graduate Diploma in Community Cultural Development–Community Based Arts Practice.
In 2014, Tricia was awarded the NIDA Work Health and Safety Award for her work in developing NIDA as an environment that is inclusive, encouraging and safe for all children and young people across Australia.
Prior to commencing work at NIDA in 2012, Tricia worked variously as a program producer, coordinator, teacher and manager with a number of small, medium and major arts organisations, including Adelaide Fringe and the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre.
In her current role, Tricia is responsible for exploring and developing new learning and program pathways for public program course students, including multimedia and new technology learning.
