Thomas Hamilton

Thomas Hamilton (he/him) is an emerging Stage Manager & Lighting Designer. Thomas is in his final year of the BFA Technical Theatre and Stage Management course at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) after just finishing a Diploma of Film at SAE Creative Media Institution in 2022. He hopes to combine all these skills into a collaborative practice that can produce work that is interdisciplinary across all forms of theatre and film.

Thomas’ most recent work includes being the Stage Manager for IRL (KXT, 2025), Lighting Designer for Swine River, The Superquick Resurrection of Stalwart the Bushranger, & Duplexity (NIDA, 2025), Assistant Stage Manager for Hot Tub (25A Belvoir, 2024), Stage Manager for Heaven (Brand X, 2024), Head Electrician for Stupid Fucking Bird (NIDA, 2024), Technical Operator for Paper Stars (ATYP, 2024), Stage Manager Cover for All Boys (KXT, 2024), Deputy Stage Manager for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (NIDA, 2024), Head Electrician for Sugung-Ga: The Other Side of the World (Sydney Festival, 2024), and Sydney Festival Stage Manager for Sydney Symphony Under The Stars (Sydney Festival, 2024). He is excited about the future and ready to dive into various creative productions, both theatre and film.
