Michael Fisher

Michael is a young, committed Sydney (Eora Nation) based maker and mechanist who grew up in the heart of Inner West Sydney who developed their love of timber and metal work in high school and continued that passion into NIDA. He also developed a love of the artistic community behind theatre productions and its technical nature during two high school productions, of which he crewed backstage on. These skills helped him with his multiple roles throughout NIDA and especially his construction management roles. His skills always enable him to be able to effectively think outside of the box in managing his goals. This has helped for his work in set construction, theatrical rigging and automation projects. His passion for learning new skills within the industry has helped him in his current roles and he intends to keep this attitude of learning for his future endeavours.
