Jack Thomson

Jack Thomson joined NIDA in September 2023, bringing a wealth of experience, understanding and insight following a brief stint in the United States.

With a diverse background in higher education and the performing arts, Jack has worked and performed globally, including in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Bolivia, Timor-Leste, Thailand, and the United States.

Focusing on enhancing staff and student experiences, mental health, and strategic initiatives, Jack excels in operationalising new facilities and new teams with a focus on positive change management. An acclaimed young professional, award winner, and board director, Jack is a recognised leader in his field.

Upon joining NIDA, Jack shared his enthusiasm: “I am thrilled to bring my passion for the performing and creative arts, combined with my overarching global experience in higher education. I look forward to contributing to the creation and development of everyday leaders and remarkable storytellers.”
