Georgia Gilbert

Georgia Gilbert is currently Head of Industry and Alumni at NIDA. Georgia has worked as Development Executive at Ian Collie and Rob Gibson’s Easy Tiger Productions. Prior to that, she was a Development Producer at Cate Blanchett and Andrew Upton’s production company Dirty Films, where she continues to work as a freelance producer.

Previously, Georgia was the Head of Stage Management at Sydney Theatre Company where she led numerous productions in Sydney, touring around Australia and internationally, including on Broadway. Working with directors such as John Crowley, Neil Armfield, Benedict Andrews, Barrie Kosky, Andrew Upton, Kip Williams, Judy Davis and Tamás Ascher.  Georgia has also worked with designers such as Fiona Crombie, Robert Cousins, Alice Babidge, Nick Schlieper and many of Australia’s finest actors including Hugo Weaving, Richard Roxburgh, Rose Byrne, Damon Herriman, Robyn Nevin, Elizabeth Debicki, Jacki Weaver, Joel Edgerton, Deborah Mailman, Marta Dusseldorp, Miranda Otto, Cate Blanchett and Isabelle Huppert. She has also enjoyed working closely with hundreds of Australia’s finest technicians, crew and makers.

Georgia has a Bachelor of Dramatic Art in Technical Production from NIDA.
