Claudia’s first experience with acting was less “love at first sight” and more “mild horror.” Talked into taking Year 9 Drama by a persuasive best friend, she walked into class, was thrown into a game of Space Jump, and instantly regretted everything. But something made her stay. That reluctant “yes” turned into a deep love for storytelling, and she hasn’t looked back since.
Originally from Queensland, Claudia draws strength from her Serbian-Chilean roots and a deep curiosity about people. Though her parents had reservations about the unpredictability of a creative path, they couldn’t deny her determination. Her quiet stubbornness won them over, and they’ve supported her fully—funding cello, singing, and acting lessons that helped carry her all the way to NIDA.
Since then, she’s embraced every opportunity to expand her creative voice. Claudia finds joy in collaboration, experimentation, and the strange magic that happens in a rehearsal room.
Now, after two years at NIDA, she might even be persuaded by a game of Space Jump. Maybe.
