About Charlotte
Charlotte comes from a large immigrant Jewish family and a long line of domestic entertainers and storytellers. She attributes her love of performing arts to long family road trips in which her father would only allow theatre tunes or he would ‘turn this car around, I swear to God!’
Thanks to Charlotte’s musical upbringing, high school was followed by a Diploma of Acting at AFTT and subsequently a Diploma of Musical Theatre at NIDA. It was during this training that Charlotte decided to further her acting skills and, upon graduation, embarked on the NIDA BFA.
During her time at NIDA, Charlotte was engaged by David Elfick and Peter Dasent to perform voiceover work on the new children’s musical Jungle Hideaway. Recording in a studio inspired Charlotte to start releasing the music she had been writing since the age of twelve; Charlotte found success on Spotify garnering over 70k streams on her first single released in 2020.
Charlotte hopes to continue writing and developing her own work – whether this be through song, stage, or screen, and is excited to continue storytelling in her family’s footsteps.
