Urinetown the Musical
Date/Time: 27 Feb 2020 - 29 Feb 2020
Presented by: Newington College
Approximate running time: 3 hours.
In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides that he's had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!
Join students from Newington College and girls from neighbouring schools including Meriden, MLC School, PLC Sydney and others, in this side-splitting sendup of greed, love, revolution (and musicals!), in a time when water is worth its weight in gold.
Children: This event is suitable for all ages, children less than 3 years old do not require a ticket if seated on an adults lap.
Camera policy: At the request of the presenter, no cameras (video or still) or recording devices are permitted to be used inside the auditorium for this event.
