Ally is a highly driven specialty costume and prop maker based in Sydney. Her love of costumes and props started at a young age making itself evident in the hundreds of drawings, sculptures, paintings, cardboard props and dress ups she was constantly producing.
Specialty costume has dominated Ally’s artistic practice since before NIDA and has led her to a particular fascination with complex pattern making, leather work, foam work, and sculpture.
