Scotland born, Perth raised and now a proud Sydney-sider, Ethan retains strong connections to his Celtic roots.
His passion for performing was first ignited while working as a media student behind the camera filming a high school production of Peter Pan. Ethan was instantly captivated by the world of performing arts. He immersed himself, seizing every opportunity to act and sing both within and outside of school, and featured in several commercial video advertising campaigns before the age of 16.
As his journey continued, he obtained a Diploma in Musical Theatre at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and worked with the Western Australian Youth Theatre Company (WAYTCO) before being accepted into the inaugural Singing Actor stream of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) at NIDA. While at NIDA, Ethan relished the diverse course content and opportunities to develop his knowledge and expertise. He has a love for acting and a particular zeal for accent and voice work.
Outside of acting, Ethan is a physical fitness enthusiast. He is a WA State Championship gold medallist rower and a skilled downhill snow skier.
Ethan has strong passion for storytelling both behind and in front of the camera, and he looks forward to opportunities where he can direct, produce and edit his own films.Ethan is excited about his future in the acting industry, and will carry his signature good sense of humour, positive attitude, and enthusiasm to his career.
