NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we learn and tell stories, the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Dharawal and Dharug peoples, and we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.
Ella has had a passion for the arts from a young age through music and a love for theatre she discovered during high school. She completed an Advanced Diploma of Live Production and Technical Services at NIDA before jumping into the Bachelor Degree.
Through Ella’s experience over the last three years, she has found interests in stage management and sound design/engineering. She has also been able to cultivate her creativity and passion for music through her experience as a sound designer and through her love of music.
By creating soundscapes and composition, Ella hopes to tell new stories with audio as the main medium as she believes that sound has a strong connection to an individual’s emotional response to theatre shows.
Through her secondments experience, Ella has found a new love for repertoire theatre and new Australian work and hopes to pursue this in the years to come.
