NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the sacred lands, from the mountains to the sea, on which we learn and tell stories.

The lands of the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Dharawal and Dharug peoples. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.

Olivia Mortimer-Eade

OliviaOlivia was born and raised in New Zealand to an Irish family. She started competitive Irish dancing at age 5, where she quite literally stumbled upon her love of performance. She competed internationally through her youth and adolescence, winning a world medal in Ireland at the age of 16.

Prior to NIDA, Olivia started studying a Bachelor of Communications, and worked as a radio journalist, hosting and producing a weekly news show. This alternative form of storytelling fed her fervent interest in the exploration of humanity and justice.
