Ned Napier

Ned has been passionate about acting since playing Gavroche in his school’s production of Les Misérables in 2007 and hasn’t stopped acting since. Growing up in Melbourne, he spent his spare time training at St Martins Youth Theatre and Verve Studios. Ned auditioned for everything and anything that he possibly could, doing school and community plays throughout his childhood.
In 2013, he made a leap into television playing the lead in a co-production between ABC3 and the CBBC, Worst Year Of My Life, Again! From there he went on to shoot a pilot, Hartman’s Solution and had a guest role on The Doctor Blake Mysteries.
After a year of flailing in the industry getting close but not landing anything, he decided to apply for NIDA with the hope of honing his craft and spending three solid years training.
Upon exiting NIDA, Ned is more passionate than ever, but instead of waiting for the phone to ring, he is hoping to create his own material. He is currently writing multiple projects for both theatre and film.
