About Leia
Leia Loisa is an Indonesian-born Stage Manager based in Sydney. She has a background in dance where she learnt hip-hop, traditional Indonesian dance, contemporary dance, and more while she was still in Indonesia. Leia’s love of performing arts grew and she completed a Diploma in Technical Production and Management at LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore, and then began her Bachelor of Fine Arts (TTSM) degree at NIDA.
Leia is passionate about working as a Stage Manager in dance theatre, physical theatre, musical theatre, plays, and more. Leia is always interested in new cultures and languages and loves working in a culturally diverse environment. She also wishes to bring her knowledge of technical theatre and stage management from her time at NIDA and in Australia back to the theatre community in Indonesia.
