About Grace
Grace Eirini Stamnas is a Greek/Australian multidisciplinary artist, with a background in music and dance. Growing up on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, her interests ranged from dirt bike riding to classical ballet.
Since graduating NIDA’s Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2017, Grace performed in numerous theatre productions around the country. Her highlights include Chimerica at the Sydney Theatre Company, and Australian Theatre for Young People’s (ATYP) production of Intersection 2019: Arrival at the Griffin Theatre. Grace devised and performed in two Little Eggs Collective productions: Pinocchio, which won two Sydney Fringe Festival Awards, and the sold-out season of The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, at King’s Cross Theatre.
After a successful season of work, Grace made the decision to return to NIDA in 2020 to deepen her skillset. During her training, Grace has been sought after for projects outside of NIDA, including a leading role in short film HONEY, and Movement Coach for Little Eggs Collective’s Symphonie Fantastique at KXT. The production was nominated for seven Sydney Theatre Awards – winning four including Best Independent Production for 2021.
Grace is the recipient of the 2022 Keith Bain OAM Award for Movement.
Grace is excited to take the skills she has developed at NIDA back out into the industry.
