NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we learn and tell stories, the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Dharawal and Dharug peoples, and we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.
Lachlan is a Sydney-based theatre maker and producer with a passion for musical theatre and new Australian work.
Lachlan grew up with an enthusiasm for telling stories and from an early age he discovered and fell in love with the world of theatre.
At NIDA, Lachlan has continued to explore his passion for storytelling as a stage manager whilst training in production, stage and company management. His experience at NIDA has provided a holistic theatrical education which allowed him to develop an interest for lighting design.
After graduation, Lachlan hopes to continue working in stage and company management, while also exploring producing as a means to provide opportunities for emerging artists and give back to the artistic community that paved the way for him.
In such a critical moment in our history, where the artistic landscape in Australia has been impacted by the current world events, Lachlan is dedicated to the continued life and success of this industry, and inspired to be a part of this changing and shifting frontier of digital and live performance.
