Jordan Gibbs
Jordan is the Client Director of Culture Counts Australia and a former theatrical production specialist. Born and raised in Western Australia, Jordan seeks to fuse effective cultural policy solutions betweengovernment and the cultural sector. His background in technical facilitation provides a unique insight into the logistics of effective policy execution and is one that focuses on nurturing relationships for the betterment of the sector.
Prior to his role at Culture Counts, Jordan was the Assistant Technical Manager of Crown Perth’s theatre department, coordinating 300+ performances annually across musical theatre, contemporary music and dance. Jordan was previously Head of Audio at His Majesty’s Theatre, Perth, where he worked closely with the West Australian Opera and West Australian Ballet.
He holds a Master of Arts and Cultural Management (MA) from Deakin University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business and was the bass player in his tragic high school band Delusions of Adequacy; recording one E.P. before calling it quits. He has been inspired meeting so many incredible people at NIDA and is delighted at the opportunity to now witness their future.
