NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we learn and tell stories, the Bidjigal people. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.

We also wish to acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across this country's sacred homelands, and in particular, students and other First Nations members of the NIDA community.

Declan Kelly

Declan Declan started acting when his parents realised that he was a loud child that needed an outlet. Ever since that day, he has been aching for the stage.

Growing up in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Declan formed a deep appreciation of his working-class family background and felt it his duty to tell their stories.

Since his move to Sydney, this passion for telling stories that reflect the world and the faces he grew up around has only strengthened.

Declan hopes to one day bring these stories to a wide audience and empower those in similar situations.
