With a passion for creativity, innovation and artistry, and a practice in theatre and performance, Daniel is a director, creative producer, arts manager, administrator, company manager, production associate, teaching artist, lecturer, consultant and mentor, in the arts, entertainment, cultural and creative learning sectors.
He has worked with organisations across Australia and internationally including: Cirque du Soleil (Kooza, Totem, Dralion), Gordon Frost Organisation (Wicked, Chicago, Doctor Zhivago, Fame), Newtheatricals, Dainty Group and Dodger Theatricals (Jersey Boys), James Anthony Productions (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Sydney Opera House, Lincoln Centre Education New York, New Mardi Gras, Brisbane Festival, Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Brisbane Powerhouse, Australian Institute of Music and NIDA.
Daniel has an interest in creating performance with young and emerging artists, and has worked as a theatre-maker, director and teaching artist, in variety of organisations, schools and tertiary institutions, working on more than 100 productions, events and arts projects, consulting on curriculum, and developing arts programmes nationally. His work spans musical theatre, circus, cabaret, traditional plays, and contemporary, physical, and devised performance.
He currently holds a Master of Arts and Creative Industries Management, a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Drama), and a Bachelor of Education, from Queensland University of Technology.
