Veronique came to NIDA after pursuing a career in the medical sciences. Her exposure to the creative and performing arts while living overseas developed her interest in performance making. Productions by theatre makers such as Punchdrunk, Kneehigh, Complicite and Ex Machina inspired her to take the initiative and apply to study at NIDA.
Throughout her time at NIDA, Veronique has worked in a wide range of roles. She has relished the opportunity to take on such an array of roles across the production seasons, which can be seen in the list of productions below and her choice of secondment placements. Collaborating with UTS Backstage, Veronique designed the lighting for the 2017 production of Blood Wedding.
Veronique has applied for a Master of Fine Arts (Design for Performance) at NIDA and is looking forward to further developing the skills she has gained in the BFA (Technical Theatre and Stage Management).
