Christopher Bryant


Christopher is a Griffin Award nominated playwright (Home Invasion, 2015) who has worked with a range of companies including Apocalypse Theatre, MKA, ATYP, ACPA, La Mama, Theatre on a Horse, MUST and Monash University, and has had his plays performed around Australia. Recent work includes his ‘searing piece’ 63 Days (Lisa Thatcher, 2015) in Apocalypse Theatre’s season of quick-response works ASYLUM, his ‘spit-roasting, brain-splattering, offal-eating’ play Third Reich Mommie (AussieTheatre, 2014) which was published by Playlab in 2015 and The Mutant Man which was shortlisted for Belvoir’s 2014 Philip Parsons Playwriting Fellowship. He was an independent representative at the 2015 Playwriting Australia National Play Festival, and is a current recipient of the inaugural Russell Beedles Performing Arts Fellowship from the State Library of Victoria.
