Born in Sydney and raised in Tasmania, Erin’s love of theatre stemmed from weekend trips to Melbourne to see new musicals. These viewings led to a love of theatre and a determination to work on stage that was only fuelled as she went on to attend Rosny College and study in the theatre department from 2011 to 2013.
Though her work in theatre started on the stage, her interests quickly shifted to backstage and she was soon immersed in a world of stage management, sound and lighting. This led to working with PLoT Theatre Company and NIDA graduate Bill Pierson in her final year at school, before deciding to apply to NIDA for the Technical Theatre and Stage Management course.
Since starting at NIDA, Erin has continued to develop her passion for stage management as well as find a new passion for sound systems and design. Now in her third and final year, Erin looks forward to taking all the skills she has learned during her time here out into the industry.
