After completing a year-and-a-half of a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Melbourne, Katelyn travelled around Europe for six months, rediscovering her love of historical art and textiles.
Before starting at NIDA, Katelyn worked as a Costume Assistant at the Williamstown Little Theatre Company and a Costume Assistant on the Australian feature film Partisan.
In 2016 Katelyn completed a secondment on the upcoming ABC TV series Seven Types of Ambiguity. She was also Costume Supervisor on two NIDA productions, and completed her major research project, an exploration of early nineteenth-century working-class dress.
Katelyn would like to thank the wonderful Costume staff, Fiona, Annette and Marcia, for their phenomenal support and guidance over the last three years.
