Giorgia was born and predominantly raised in Melbourne, although spent her early childhood living in the United States and United Kingdom with her family.
Taking singing and dancing lessons from age three, Giorgia has always shown a passion for the performing arts. Having over 10 years experience in various dance styles and private vocal tuition, Giorgia has a keen interest in contemporary musical theatre and cabaret-style performance.
Throughout her teenage years, Giorgia added a diverse number of local theatre credits to her repertoire, including; Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, Mister Toad in The Adventures of Mister Toad and Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Graduating high school in 2012, Giorgia was ranked in the top 1% of Victorian students, awarded the Dux prize for English and Drama, and selected as a VCAA Top Class performer.
Giorgia moved to Sydney after successfully auditioning for NIDA aged 19. Alongside her studies at NIDA, Giorgia was elected as the Student Council representative for the Acting cohort. In 2015, Giorgia was the female recipient of the Hazel Treweek Shakespeare Award for excellence in classical text.
