Adam grew up in Adelaide in an arts rich family. From an early age, Adam was involved in amateur productions on stage, but at age 13 he began to move behind the scenes and discover what really made it happen. With a particular focus in lighting and stage management, he developed his interest in making theatre by working with his high school’s drama department and community theatre companies in Adelaide. He lit everything from cabaret shows to Carols by Candlelight and musical theatre events, including co-ops between Swell Productions and the State Opera of South Australia.
Adam came to NIDA to develop his skills as a production practitioner and to see where it would lead. He is incredibly grateful for the support of his family during this time and is looking forward to continuing study in 2015.
