Prior to her studies at NIDA, Isabella completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) at Sydney College of the Arts, graduating with first class honours in 2011. Her research explored processesof decay as pertaining to technology, exploring the visual potential of file corruption, softwaremalfunctions and compression.

Shadow Kitsuné (set and costume co-design, directed by Benjamin Schostakowski, triple j Unearthed), Women’s Circle (set and costume design, with Elsie Edgerton-Till/Kate McDowell/students of ACPA, NIDA), A Moment on the Lips (costume design, directed byMackenzie Steele, The Old Fitz), Haircuts (costume design, directed by Tristan Pemberton, Flywire Films) and The Night Sky (costume design, directed by Lara Lavarch, AFTRS).
In 2012 Isabella was invited to show her film, Motion Picture Ruins, at the Sydney Laneway Festival. Earlier in 2014, she was awarded the William Fletcher Foundation Tertiary Grant.
