Growing up in the rural precinct of Pipers River in North Tasmania, the idea of acting was a foreign prospect for Charlotte. Her introduction to theatre serendipitously transpired after her mother suggested she study Drama in her final years of high school.
Charlotte then pursued the local performing art scene, participating in an array of productions with Launceston College and Mudlark Theatre Company including Macbeth, Action, High School Musical and All Shook Up. During this time her performance at Launceston Competitions awarded her with Best Adult Performance in Chekhov’s The Proposal. Charlotte also dabbled in the world of presenting, co-hosting Dance Fever Dance Spectacular alongside Dancing With The Stars’ Andrew Palmer.
After relocating to Melbourne for a year, immersing herself in the local hospitality scene as bar manager and mixologist, Charlotte decided it was time to fulfil a creative and academic void, embarking on an exhilarating three year ride at NIDA.
