The Front of House Assistants are engaged to perform a variety of the following roles and/or tasks associated with; box office, bartending, food and beverage attendant, front of house supervisor, reception and usher.

What we’re looking for

At NIDA we seek out reliable and professional casual employees to provide exceptional service. You will have a positive attitude, the ability to remain calm under pressure and possess excellent communication skills.

We are looking for individuals who are able to offer us flexibility and work a variety of hours depending on our operational requirements and who are willing to work with short lead times.

Experience in the hospitality, events and/or performing arts industry will be highly regarded.

  • You are required to have a current Responsible Service of Alcohol competency card or be willing to get one.
  • A valid Working With Children Check for NSW is essential. Having one or being willing to get one and to support and implement NIDA’s Child Safe Strategies is necessary to undertake this role.

We will conduct interviews via Zoom at the beginning of October. Successful candidates must be available for a 3 hour online induction and to start work by the week beginning 19th October. Please be aware that as a casual employee work is not guaranteed. It is neither regular nor consistent.
