 The Dissolving Self NIDA in association with Brink presents The Dissolving Self Devised by Chris Drummond, Susan Rogers and the company Directed by Chris Drummond Dates: | 19, 21-22, 24-26 June | 7.30pm 22 June | 2pm | | Venue: | Carriageworks | “I seem to attract the weird ones in public places.” Set in an airport transit lounge, halfway between heaven and hell, The Dissolving Self depicts a purgatory we all know. This exciting new work contemplates the wanderlust of the soul and our eternal quest to both find and obliterate ourselves. Using Ibsen’s Peer Gynt as a launch pad, the show has been devised by a company of third year NIDA students, led by Brink Productions’ Artistic Director Chris Drummond with writer Susan Rogers and musician Tom Hogan.
