It only happens every two years so take the opportunity to join us at NIDA’s Open Day on Saturday 22 May from 10am – 4pm at the world-class campus in Kensington. This is your chance to find out what goes on inside Australia’s leading drama institute as NIDA opens the doors to its theatres, rehearsal rooms, workshops and classes.

Many of Australia’s most talented actors, directors, designers, production technicians, costume and prop makers have trained at NIDA over the past 50 years. Open Day gives you the chance to go behind the scenes; join workshops, see performances and presentations by NIDA students and staff and discover how the magic of the stage and screen is created.
Special guests on the day include many NIDA graduates and this year you will have the opportunity to meet many familiar faces from stage and screen in an interactive Q&A sessions. Acting graduates, Caroline Craig (Underbelly and All Saints), Les Chantery (Cedar Boys), Bojana Novakovic (Edge of Darkness) and Eamon Farren (Pacific) will be centre stage in the Parade Theatre to share their experiences of studying a NIDA and answer any questions you might have to ask.
