YOUTH PRODUCTIONS
NIDA is pleased to present Open Program Youth Productions for different age groups throughout the year. All those who have participated in a NIDA youth course are eligible to audition.
Auditions will be held on 21 September 2008 for Pirates - a NIDA Open Program production for 9 - 12 years and rehearsals for this production will get underway on 19 October. This project is conceived and directed by Jesica Symes, NIDA Directing Graduate.

| AUDITION - PIRATES THEATRE PRODUCTION 9-12 YRS
Ooo-argh! I'm hard-hearted Henry Hawkins, all right! Just listen to me an' I'll teach yer to fight!
This production is inspired by pirate stories and nautical adventures, from Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island to Pirate School by Colin McNaughton. The young actors will work with the director, Jessica Symes, devising the characters and script. Girl and boy pirates are invited to audition. Be ready to learn how to spit, swear and have an awesome time!
Rehearsals: Sundays 19 October to 30 November and Saturday 29 November 12:00-5:00pm
Tech/dress Rehearsals: Saturday 6 December
Performances: Sunday 7 December
