Edges

Edges

Born in Chile they all play six string acoustic and electric guitar, bass and also use their instruments as percussion and vocal beat box. Wild World

Wild World

At the height of his career in the mid 1970’s, Cat Stevens, discontent with the excesses of fame and fortune, abandoned the music business. In Wild World, the musical journey of Cat Stevens is traced from his teenage years in the West End of London, through his traumatic illness and explosive successes, to his near drowning and subsequent conversion to Islam. Through words and music, you will be taken on a journey that was the Cat Stevens legend. April 16, 17 8pm.

Beaudy

Beaudy

Beaudy is the new Australian Musical Theatre event, loosely based on the 17th century fairytale The Sleeping Beauty In The Woods.

The show's title says it all. The story has been Australianised and updated to the current day, although not always given the most reverent of treatments. Beaudy features a large cast including Stephen Fisher-King, Lizzie Taylor, and Scott Radburn (4 Kinsmen) plus a full orchestra. A celebration of song, dance, and good old fashioned story telling!

 Parade Theatre, 7-24 July. Wed-Sat 8pm, Thu 8,15 July 2pm, Sat 10,17,24 July 2pm, Wed 21 July 11am.
