FROM BUSTLES TO BRIDEZILLA

8-30 August 2008 | NIDA Foyer

A collection of 40 gowns, in addition to veils, millinery and bridal accessories, will tell the story of the way we were on our special day. Curated and designed by students of the NIDA Costume Course, the exhibition will sweep around the NIDA foyers in a chronological cavalcade which starts with a bride and two bridesmaids’ gowns from the 1880s, moving decade by decade until we reach the legendary excesses of the 1980s.
