Solo Voyages



Solo Voyages is a double bill presentation of Thirst and Howl as well as an exhibition of work focusing on the individual pitted against nature and the world. Solo Voyages showcases the work of NIDA’s recent directing and acting graduates, guest artists and NIDA’s current design, costume, properties and production students.

Contains: Sexual references and coarse language. Suitable 16 years+.

Duo for Two



Duo for Two is a double bill presentation of Frenzy For Two and The Collection as well as an exhibition of work focusing on exploring the turmoil lurking outside the confines of our relationships. Duo for Two showcases the work of NIDA’s recent directing and acting graduates, guest artists and NIDA’s current design, costume, properties and production students.

Mr Chicken Goes To Paris

Celebrate the National Year of Reading at The National Institute of Dramatic Art with the riotous production Mr Chicken Goes to Paris. Children will delight in the exploits of Mr Chicken as he takes to the stage at Australia's premier drama school. This joyful NIDA production explores themes of friendship and belonging, inspiring young people to take up the tradition of reading and storytelling. After the show cast and crew will take questions from the audience and reveal the creative process of adapting a picture book for the stage.

Marko Panzic Presents the dynamic choreographic duo Tannos & Choice for an exclusive 5 show season at The Parade Playhouse Sydney in February 2012. Stephen Tannos & Morgan Choice co-direct and create a one hour high octane dance spectacular featuring 10 talented Australian dancers. Produced and Co-Directed by Marko Panzic, this show will take the audience on an inspirational journey fusing contemporary & hip hop. This is Dance as its never been seen before! David Broza

David Broza

For more than a decade, singer/songwriter David Broza has been steadily gaining reputation throughout the world. A superstar in his homeland of Israel, he is a modern troubadour of urban folk-rock.

David creates a unique style of multi-cultural musical blend, sung in poetic rhythms of three languages. Broza is a captivating, compelling performer who masters his guitar into submission. He is the creator of a classical suite, which has been performed with various orchestras all over the world.

The4Elements

Presented by Loredo Malcolm and LOcREaDO Dance Company

After producing, directing and choreographing four successful shows, this May will see LOcREaDO Dance Company’s fifth production come to life, THE4ELEMENTS.

Featuring some of Australia’s most talented dancers, Loredo Malcolm and his company of 29 will bring you a gala performance of amazing African contemporary ballet spectacular using their bodies to incorporate THE4ELEMENTS of life. Earth, Water, Wind and Fire!

Loredo is well known in the world of dance, theatre and entertainment with achievements including:

The bar will be open an hour prior to each performance serving light meals, confectionery, and hot and cold beverages.
The café at NIDA will be open Mon-Fri 9am-4pm and Saturday and Sundays 8.30am-2pm.

UNSW parking is available next door to Parade Theatres and in the grounds of UNSW, street parking in Anzac Parade, Day Avenue, Doncaster Avenue, Houston Road and Mooramie Avenue. more
