Sheridan's robust classic comedy of love and intrigue, largely peopled by men on the make and women looking for love. The Rivals is Sheridan's first play, considered to be based on his own life including his scandalous marriage to a popular singer, and the people he met in Bath, a fashionable resort for the wealthy in the era. Hagan's fresh look at this classic brings the piece into a contemporary setting at a hedonistic luxury health spa, and promises the audience a thoroughly hilarious evening!
