TRAINING OPTIONS FOR NIDA AND OTHER GRADUATES
MASTER OF DRAMATIC ART
Since 2005 NIDA has offered a one year full-time Master of Dramatic Art, specialising in Directing, Movement Studies or Voice Studies.
The Master of Dramatic Art specialising in Directing is a one year full time course. It is designed to assist highly talented and experienced young directors to master the play production process, refine their skills and develop a technically sound, but highly personal and creative approach to directing a play.
The Master of Dramatic Art specialising in Movement Studies is a one year full time course. The course aims to assist students to master the skills required of a professional movement teacher and/or physical theatre creator. This involves an in-depth knowledge of the discipline, advanced teaching skills and experience in the process of working creatively with actors and directors in theatre, film and television.
The Master of Dramatic Art specialising in Voice Studies is a one-year full time course. The aim of this course is to assist students to master the skills required of a professional voice teacher. This invovles an in-depth knowledge of the discipline, advanced teaching skills and experience of the process of working creatively with actors and directors in theatre, film and television.
