Anton Chekhov's The Seagull

Friends and relations holiday at a country estate where a young man is staging his first play. Among Kostya's audience are his mother, a famous actress, and her lover, the popular novelist, Trigorin. When the star of Kostya's play - Nina, the love of his life - falls for Trigorin, the consequences prove fatal. One of the most influential plays of all time, The Seagull is cherished for its 'laughter through tears' as Chekhov plays with 'tons of love', literature and 'The Theatre'.

Performed by Second Year Actors. Designed, lit and stage-managed by Third Year Design and Production Students.
