NIDA Open follows NIDA policies: In maintaining a safe working and learning environment through our Occupational Health and Safety policy.
In maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for young people through our Working with Children policy which ensures the screening of tutors who work with children NIDA OPEN CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENTNIDA Open reserves the right to ask a course participant to leave a class if they are consistently late or disrupt the progress of other participants. NIDA provides supervision of young people during course hours only. NIDA reserves the right to make amendments to its programs without prior notice. NIDA and all venues used by NIDA Open are non smoking. NIDA may take and use video footage or photographs of course participants for promotional and archival purposes. All material recorded during NIDA class exercises is the copyright of NIDA. Participants may not make recordings (audio, videos or photos) of any activities at NIDA or other course venues. Recordings of class work are not provided to participants unless stated in the brochure or on this website. Where recordings of class work are provided, this material remains the copyright of NIDA and can only be used by the participant for personal use, and may not be copied, sold, screened publicly or submitted to festivals or school projects. PAYMENT OF FEES PROCEDURESPayment can be made in the form of: * Cheque (made payable to NIDA Open) * Money order * Cash (if you are able to come in to NIDA during business hours - do not post) * Mastercard * VISA Card CONFIRMATIONA receipt for payment will be forwarded to you when we have processed your application. You will also receive a confirmation letter once course quotas are reached. If we are unable to offer you a place in your chosen course, we will contact you to check if you prefer to attend another course or would like a refund. CANCELLATIONSPlease choose your courses carefully. NIDA cannot refund the course fee unless we cancel the course. If you wish to transfer or withdraw, you must advise us in writing at least two weeks before the start of the course and you will receive a credit note to the full value of the course to be used within 12 months. Consideration may be given in exceptional circumstances for withdrawals/transfers within the two week period, but not once a course has commenced. Substitution of participants may be made at any time before the commencement of a course, as long as the new participant meets any course pre-requisites. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION
