ACTING SHOWREEL

18 years and over

Advance your acting skills and camera awareness while developing a Showreel. Select, prepare and rehearse material in Term 1 and shoot two scenes from film or television in Term 2. Work with a professional director and cinematographer. (The maximum intake for this course is 10 students).

Dates & Times

Saturdays, 11.00am-5.00pm

Term 1: 11 February to 31 March
Selection and rehearsal of scenes.

Term 2: 28 April to 23 June
Rehearsal and shoot.

Fees

Course fee: $3,600 (payable over 3 instalments of $1,200)
Interview fee: $22

Applications for this course commencing in February 2012 are now open.

Interviews

Entry to this course is by interview and audition. Each applicant is required to stay for the whole audition time and may be asked to speak to camera about their interests and/or a film or play they have seen recently. When the auditions are confirmed, a short monologue for camera will be sent to applicants to prepare for the audition.
