NIDA sTUDIOS
NIDA Studios are designed for those with some experience or training who wish to commit to a 2-4 week intensive course over the winter or summer months.
The intensive training allows you to develop and extend acting skills within a highly motivated group and to work with industry experts and the best available NIDA tutors.
Entry to the NIDA Studios is by selection. Please complete the application form and send it to us along with:
• A one page resume detailing relevant experience and/or training.
• A statement as to why you wish to participate in the course.
We will select participants based on this information. Group size will be restricted to ensure individual attention.

| NIDA ACTING STUDIO | JULY, 3 WEEK PROGRAM
Emphasis is on identifying and practicing ways to perform fearlessly, yet truthfully. Choose from either a three or four week studio.
Week 1
Develop and extend skills in voice, movement and the art of improvisation in relation to performance. Build confidence with a secure approach to acting.
Week 2
Be challenged by in-depth scene work and demanding actor exercises. Rehearsed scenes result in a presentation.
Week 3
Gain awareness of your screen presence through on-camera work. Build a practical understanding of the filming process. Prepare and film exercises to camera.

Rehearse and shoot scenes for film and TV within the studio and on location. Practice screen tests. Participants receive a DVD from this week’s scene work.
